Treatment of the Pelvis level 1: 1/2 day review Course
This 1/2 day review course is 4 1/2 hours of practical time, where Barb Hungerford will review the clinical assessment tests you have learnt in the Treatment of The Pelvis & Lumbar spine level 1 course, and discuss how they assist your diagnosis of articular, myofascial and motor control dysfunctions in the lumbo-pelvic region. We will then focus on practicing treatment of articular pelvic dysfunctions including upslips, downslips, all the sacral techniques and accompanying iliac rotations.
THIS COURSE IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO THERAPISTS WHO HAVE ALREADY ATTENDED AN AMTA TREATMENT OF THE PELVIS & LUMBAR SPINE LEVEL 1 COURSE
Course Aims:
- Provide a practical session to teach functional assessment of Pelvic mobility and Stability
- Provide practical sessions during which muscle energy and articular techniques are applied to specific Musculo-skeletal dysfunctions of the pubic symphysis and SIJ’s.
